Appeal Hearing Begins for Man Convicted of Burglarizing TV Personality Na-rae Park's Home
The first appeal hearing for a man in his 30s, identified as Mr. A, who was sentenced to prison for breaking into the home of TV personality Na-rae Park and stealing valuables worth tens of millions of won, is set to take place today (22nd).

On the 22nd, the Seoul Western District Court's 2-1 Criminal Division will conduct the first appeal trial for Mr. A, who was charged with theft and nighttime residential intrusion.

Mr. A is accused of breaking into Na-rae Park's residence in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, in April last year and stealing valuables worth tens of millions of won before fleeing. The first trial court sentenced Mr. A to two years in prison, but he has appealed the decision.

Mr. A reportedly claimed that he did not know it was Na-rae Park's home at the time of the crime and that he attempted to sell the stolen items as stolen goods.

Meanwhile, Na-rae Park is currently facing allegations of mistreatment against her former manager. She has filed charges of extortion and embezzlement against her former managers, and both parties are engaged in legal disputes. Additionally, Na-rae Park is under suspicion of receiving illegal medical procedures through a so-called 'injection aunt.'
