BLACKPINK's Jennie Makes Surprise Appearance on 'EXchange 4' Finale
On the 21st, the final episode of the TVING original variety show 'EXchange 4' featured Jennie as a special guest.
Host Lee Yong-jin introduced Jennie, saying, "As we approach the final choice on 'EXchange 4', we have invited a special guest." Jennie revealed herself to be a fan of the show, stating, "I've been watching it closely."
Rapper Simon D shared the story of how Jennie was invited, saying, "We exchanged messages. When I asked if she was watching, she said it was fun and asked if she could come on the show. So I asked if she was serious about appearing." Jennie expressed her excitement, saying, "I was thrilled when I got the offer. It was the best. It feels strange to be here, like I'm inside the TV."
Lee Yong-jin asked if Simon D had given any spoilers. Jennie replied, "Not at all. He just said if I wanted to know, I should come on the show." Simon D proudly commented on his persuasion skills, to which Jennie responded, "I was convinced."
Earlier, during Ji-hyun and Seung-yong's Ferris wheel date, Seung-yong sang and danced to BLACKPINK's 'DDU-DU DDU-DU'. Jennie expressed her delight, saying, "I was pleasantly surprised to hear a BLACKPINK song. It was a nice surprise."
