Lim Sung-geun is reportedly in talks to appear on MBC's variety shows 'Hangout with Yoo' and 'The Manager.' On the 19th, the production team of 'Hangout with Yoo' told TenAsia, "No filming has taken place yet, and discussions are ongoing." They added, "Future schedules have not been finalized." Similarly, 'The Manager' team stated, "His appearance is under discussion. We will inform you once decisions are made."

Chef Lim Sung-geun, known for his appearance on Netflix's 'Black and White Chef 2,' is currently at the center of several controversies. He recently addressed allegations of school violence and admitted to past drunk driving incidents, causing further public uproar. On the 18th, Lim released a handwritten apology on his social media, beginning with "Hello, this is Lim Sung-geun." He confessed, "I want to sincerely apologize and seek forgiveness for my past mistakes that have weighed heavily on my heart."

He continued, "Drunk driving is an inexcusable mistake on my part," adding, "I deeply regretted it at the time and accepted the legal consequences. I have spent the past few years reflecting on myself." Lim concluded, "I sincerely apologize for disappointing you with my careless actions."

Earlier, Lim had addressed the drunk driving incidents on his YouTube channel 'Lim Sung-geun Lim Jjang TV,' further fueling the controversy. He admitted, "I have driven under the influence about three times over a decade. I would often sleep in my car after drinking, but was caught by the police while sleeping." He noted, "These incidents occurred around 10 years ago, with the most recent being 5-6 years ago."

On the 16th, Lim also clarified the school violence allegations. He stated, "Some people assume I was involved in school violence because of my wild personality," but insisted, "I didn't attend school properly, so there are no such allegations." He explained, "I left home and started working in the third year of middle school. I had no time for school violence," and reassured, "There's no need to worry."
