Tension Rises in 'Judge Lee Han-Young' as Ji Sung's Character Tightens Grip on Power
In the latest episode of MBC's Friday-Saturday drama 'Judge Lee Han-Young,' aired on the 17th at 9:50 PM, Ji Sung's character, Lee Han-Young, raises the stakes with a strategic plan to control Hae-nal Law Firm by exploiting the weaknesses of the Prosecutor General and securing Oh Se-Young's allegiance.

The episode showcased Lee Han-Young's bold moves as he navigates the boundaries between the judiciary and law firms to dismantle his past enemies one by one. Upon arriving in Seoul, Lee Han-Young heads straight to the office of Yoo Sun-Cheol, the head of Hae-nal Law Firm, with a shocking proposal.

Lee Han-Young confidently promises to recruit Prosecutor General Eom Jun-Ho as a legal advisor for the firm, in front of Yoo Sun-Cheol's daughter and team leader, Yoo Se-Hee. Initially dismissive of Lee Han-Young, Yoo Se-Hee begins to change her attitude as she witnesses his impressive information-gathering and execution skills.

Lee Han-Young's meticulous planning peaks during his confrontation with Eom Jun-Ho. He presents evidence of crimes committed by the daughter of the Justice Minister nominee, Woo Kyo-Hoon, and a video of Eom Jun-Ho's son using drugs in Washington, effectively cornering him.

Lee Han-Young pressures Eom Jun-Ho to prevent Woo Kyo-Hoon from becoming a minister, reminding him that judges exist outside the courtroom, even if his methods are unsavory. Yoo Se-Hee assists Lee Han-Young by emphasizing her relationship with Yoo Sun-Cheol, and in return, she receives a promise from Lee Han-Young to gain control of Hae-nal Law Firm.

The episode also highlights the subtle tensions within the firm and Yoo Se-Hee's growing obsession with Lee Han-Young. When Lee Han-Young takes over a case previously handled by Yoo Ha-Na, she offers Yoo Se-Hee a limited edition bag to speak favorably to Lee Han-Young on her behalf.

However, Lee Han-Young rejects Yoo Se-Hee's date proposal, focusing instead on his meeting with Song Na-Yeon, sparking Yoo Se-Hee's jealousy. Despite Yoo Se-Hee's attempts to assert her claim over Lee Han-Young, he firmly tells her to step aside from the trial, indicating his plan to imprison corrupt figures like local congressman Kang Jung-Tae and Chu Yong-Jin.

Towards the end of the episode, Lee Han-Young exacts a brutal revenge on Chu Yong-Jin, who had assaulted Song Na-Yeon in a past life. With the help of Seok Jung-Ho, Lee Han-Young buries Chu Yong-Jin alive, delivering a powerful sense of justice outside the legal system.
