Actress Kim Hye-yoon Reflects on Her School Days and Acting Journey
On the January 14th episode of tvN's variety show 'You Quiz on the Block' (Episode 327), Kim Hye-yoon appeared as a guest.
During the show, when asked about her school days, Kim Hye-yoon shared, "I had a lot of friends. In middle school, there were 10 classes, and I would enter through the front door, greet friends, and exit through the back door, greeting each class from 1 to 10. I spent about a minute greeting each class."
She continued, "There was no particular reason. I just greeted everyone. If someone was a friend of my friend, they were my friend too. I didn't know anyone who wasn't my friend. I was just a kid with a lot of friends who liked attention."
Kim Hye-yoon began nurturing her dream of becoming an actress by watching dramas and started attending an acting academy at the age of 17. She later enrolled in Konkuk University's Film Department. Yoo Jae-suk, the host, remarked, "It's impressive that you continued your studies while taking on minor roles. Did you receive scholarships throughout your four years?" Kim Hye-yoon humbly replied, "The school was generous with scholarships." Yoo Jae-suk praised her, saying, "Even if the scholarship system is good, they only award scholarships to those who work hard."
