Rising Star Jung Gun-joo Shines on 'My Little Old Boy'

Jung Gun-joo, the emerging star, made a notable impression on 'My Little Old Boy'.

On the episode aired on the 11th, SBS's variety show 'My Little Old Boy' welcomed actor Jung Gun-joo as a new addition.

Jung Gun-joo's mother appeared in the studio, candidly sharing her initial reaction to the show's invitation. She expressed her surprise, saying, "I was grateful but wondered, 'Am I at that level?' It seemed like only big stars appeared on the show."

Jung Gun-joo, known for his roles in popular dramas like 'Extraordinary You' and 'The Secret Romantic Guesthouse', is rising as a 'next-generation romance artisan'. Shin Dong-yup humorously noted, "He has about 1.3 million followers on social media. We have a knack for sticking to rising stars and teasing them." Seo Jang-hoon added, "He's an actor loved by the younger generation."

Jung Gun-joo is also recognized as a favorite of 'Top Gay' Hong Seok-cheon, being the only actor to appear twice on Hong's YouTube channel 'Hong Seok-cheon's Jewel Box'. Standing tall at 187cm with broad 55cm shoulders, Jung impressed with his physique, wearing a swimsuit at the pool. He explained, "I swim three to four times a week for self-care."

Jung Gun-joo's daily life was revealed, showcasing his neat and simple living room and bedroom. Seo Jang-hoon, observing Jung's skincare routine, joked, "He seems easygoing, washing his face and hair together. Honestly, he doesn't need to wash. No matter how much of a neat freak you are, what's the point? We wash diligently to avoid looking worse."

Hong Seok-cheon visited Jung's home, recognizing him as one of the 'Top 3 Handsome Actors' he acknowledges. Jung humorously asked, "Who else besides me?" to which Hong replied, "Are you jealous? Choo Young-woo and Byun Woo-seok," eliciting laughter.
