Son Tae-young Reveals Behind-the-Scenes of Kwon Sang-woo's Wedding Press Conference

Actress Son Tae-young has shared behind-the-scenes details of her wedding press conference with Kwon Sang-woo.

On October 10, the YouTube channel 'Mrs. New Jersey Son Tae-young' released a video titled "Son Tae-young's First Live with Husband Kwon Sang-woo's Epic Event."

In the video, when asked about her ideal type, Son Tae-young immediately responded with her husband's name, "Kwon Sang-woo." She explained, "What can I do? We have to live together for a long time... He is my ideal type. I didn't like overly handsome men but preferred someone with a gentle appearance, and he was very kind when we met."

Son Tae-young reminisced about their dating days, saying, "He used to come to my house often, and we went on many car dates. Since he lived with his mother, she was always there, so the three of us often went on dates together. She cooked delicious meals for us."

When asked about her feelings during the 'wedding announcement press conference,' Son Tae-young said, "Nowadays, it would be fine to just get married, but back then, society was more conservative, so I had my concerns. I received a lot of negative comments and criticism. I was unsure whether to reveal the pregnancy news."

Regarding keeping her premarital pregnancy a secret, Son Tae-young revealed, "We were already hearing a lot of negative things. If we mentioned the pregnancy, people might say our love was only because of the baby."

The couple shared that they overcame difficult times because "only Kwon Sang-woo was supposed to attend the press conference. We were strong, which helped us overcome and endure. That's why we're doing well now."

Kwon Sang-woo and Son Tae-young married in 2008 and have a son and a daughter. Since 2019, Son Tae-young has been living in the United States with their two children, while Kwon Sang-woo travels between Korea and the U.S. for work.
