Netflix's 'Culinary Class Wars Season 2' Heats Up with Semi-Finals Showdown
'Culinary Class Wars Season 2' pits the underdog 'Black Spoon' chefs against South Korea's top celebrity 'White Spoon' chefs in a culinary battle to overturn the hierarchy through sheer taste. In episodes 11 and 12, released today (6th), the final member of the TOP7 will be revealed.
As a result, 57-year veteran Chinese cuisine master Hou Te Chu, South Korea's first temple food master Seonjae Monk, re-challenger Roi Choi, and Japanese cuisine star chef Jung Ho-young made it to the TOP7. The outcome of the face-off between Son Jong-won and the Cooking Monster for the last spot is finally revealed.
Speculation arose among viewers about a spoiler. In episode 9, the Cooking Monster's name tag was spotted changing to his real name 'Lee Ha-sung,' leading to guesses that he might have won against Son Jong-won. According to the show's rules, a 'Black Spoon' chef's real name is revealed only if they reach the finals. Judge Sung Anh's comment, "Not even a paper-thin difference," at the end of episode 10 heightened viewers' curiosity about who will join the TOP7, which will be unveiled in the main episode.
The semi-finals promise another twist. This round introduces a new challenge theme, adding excitement with the show's grand scale. The chefs are in for a surprise with the theme. Last season's semi-finals featured an 'infinite cooking hell' mission centered on 'tofu,' creating dramatic showdowns until only one remained. As anticipation builds for whether this semi-final will also feature an infinite cooking hell, viewers can expect intense competition and extraordinary dishes.
Episodes 11 and 12 of 'Culinary Class Wars Season 2,' the last step before the finals, will be available on Netflix today (6th) at 5 PM, reaching audiences worldwide.
