'2 Days & 1 Night' Debuts New Five-Member Format After Jo Se-ho's Departure

The popular KBS 2TV variety show '2 Days & 1 Night Season 4' (hereafter '2 Days & 1 Night') introduced its new five-member lineup following the departure of Jo Se-ho.

On the episode aired on the 4th, the show kicked off its '2026 New Year Plan Manipulation Team' segment in Chuncheon, Gangwon Province. The members greeted viewers in front of the KBS headquarters, marking their first appearance as a five-member team. Notably, there was no mention of Jo Se-ho, who left the show due to personal controversies.

Discussing their New Year plans, newlywed Kim Jong-min humorously declared, "I'm going straight for a baby. Don't mess with me or ruin my mood."

Moon Se-yoon added, "Jong-min has been taking care of his body since last year for his future child," while DinDin joked, "He'll soon be on par with running king Sean," causing laughter among the group.

Moon Se-yoon also surprised everyone by revealing his own plans for more children. When Kim Jong-min teased, "Se-yoon wants a third child," Moon Se-yoon responded, "That's nonsense. I'm not physically prepared," but admitted, "The possibility is open. I miss the days when they were toddling around."

Eldest member Kim Jong-min struggled with his short New Year greeting, "Let's start 2026 energetically," failing multiple times. The PD jokingly regretted assigning him such a difficult task, adding to the humor.

After the mission, the members complained, "The New Year difficulty level has skyrocketed." Yoo Seon-ho muttered, "We're not improving," while Moon Se-yoon expressed his dissatisfaction, "The production team seems determined not to get close to us."

Kim Jong-min humorously shared his wish to fully enjoy the '2 Days & 1 Night' experience, saying, "While leaving early is nice, I want to make the most of the show's infrastructure, dreaming of episodes where we can eat whenever we want and have guaranteed indoor sleeping."
