BL Drama 'Thunder Cloud Rain Storm' Stars Jeong Riu and Yoon Jisung to Continue Global Buzz with China Fan Meetings

The lead actors of the BL drama 'Thunder Cloud Rain Storm,' Jeong Riu and Yoon Jisung, are set to maintain their global popularity with upcoming fan meetings in China. Yoon Jisung, who debuted with Wanna One in 2017, has been active as a solo artist and actor since the group's disbandment in January 2019.

Following the release of all episodes on Wavve last month, the drama's stars, Jeong Riu and Yoon Jisung, have announced fan meetings in Shaoxing and Changsha, China, on January 17 and 18, 2026. 'Thunder Cloud Rain Storm' is an intense BL drama that explores the transformation of a relationship from sympathy to jealousy and possessiveness among young adults.

The drama has achieved significant global success, ranking first for three consecutive weeks on Japan's OTT platform Rakuten TV, and reaching the top spot on North American and European OTT platform iQIYI, Southeast Asian platform GagaOOLala, and Taiwan's Friday. As Wavve's first exclusive BL series, it also reached the second-highest real-time viewership ranking for a BL drama, garnering enthusiastic responses from viewers.

Jeong Riu and Yoon Jisung portrayed the characters Seo Jeonghan and Lee Iljo, delivering nuanced emotional performances and compelling narratives.
