'Perfect Crown' is a new MBC drama set to premiere in the first half of 2026. It is a romance drama set in a constitutional monarchy in 21st century South Korea, focusing on a wealthy woman frustrated by her commoner status and a prince who is sad because he cannot have anything. Previously, IU (as Seong Hee-joo) and Byeon Woo-seok (as Lee An-daegun) showcased their exceptional chemistry as presenters at the '2025 MBC Drama Awards.'
