Kang Soo-jung Reveals Past Connection with Actor Kim Kang-woo on 'New Release, Pyeonstorang'

Kang Soo-jung, a well-known broadcaster, shared a surprising past connection with actor Kim Kang-woo on the latest episode of KBS 2TV's 'New Release, Pyeonstorang'.

During the episode aired on the 2nd, Kang Soo-jung revealed, "When I was a freshman in college, I went on a Southeast Asia package tour with Kim Kang-woo, who was a high school senior at the time." She explained that Kim was accompanied by his older brother, while she traveled with her mother.

Kang Soo-jung added intrigue by saying, "The brothers were incredibly handsome, but there was a reason we couldn't become closer." She recounted a mishap during a parasailing activity, where a prank by the organizers led to her falling into the water, causing chaos as the parachute got soaked and rescue teams had to intervene.

When asked if Kim Kang-woo was the one who rescued her, Kang humorously confessed, "I was wearing a one-piece swimsuit and had put in large pads to look more impressive. As the brothers tried to help, I moved so vigorously that the pads slipped down to my stomach. I tried to fix it quickly, but I couldn't look them in the face," eliciting laughter from the audience.

MC Boom comforted her, joking, "Maybe they thought it was abs," and asked Kim Kang-woo if he remembered the incident. Kim replied, "It was a blackout moment for me. I don't remember, but suddenly she appeared on the news," drawing more laughs.

Meanwhile, Kim Kang-woo shared his secrets to maintaining a youthful appearance at the age of 48. He starts his day by drinking lukewarm water, warning against cold water for health reasons, and advised fans of iced Americanos to refrain during winter.

Kim also takes probiotics on an empty stomach and keeps busy with activities like reading the newspaper, exercising, cleaning, organizing packages, and recycling, inadvertently practicing intermittent fasting for 15 hours.

He emphasized the importance of the first meal of the day, whether breakfast or brunch, and mentioned the popular '10-Year Deletion Juice' that gained attention last year.
