Pop Artist Nancy Lang Opens Up About Financial Struggles and New Beginnings
On the October 1st broadcast of MBN's 'Special World,' pop artist Nancy Lang appeared and confessed that her debts have increased following a 'fraudulent marriage' incident.
During the show, Nancy Lang shared, "I was behind on my rent for up to five months, and the landlord asked me to leave. I broke down when my credit cards were cut off," she said. "I resorted to borrowing from first, second, and third-tier financial institutions, and even loan sharks. Eventually, my debt grew from 800 million to 1.5 billion won."
She continued, "Many people tried to take advantage of me. It felt like being surrounded by zombies," she recalled, expressing her difficult emotions at the time. "Going through such experiences made me dislike people."
In her quest for a new relationship, Nancy Lang visited a matchmaking agency, expressing her desire for a fresh start in both work and love. However, the agency expressed concerns, saying, "If it's revealed that Nancy Lang, a well-known pop artist in Korea, is carrying debt, there won't be many men willing to meet her courageously." In response, Nancy Lang firmly stated, "I will repay my debt myself. I'm willing to get it notarized."
