Yook Sung-jae and Kim Ji-yeon Win Top Honors at 2025 SBS Drama Awards

Yook Sung-jae and Kim Ji-yeon have been awarded the Best Actor and Actress in the Mini-Series Human/Fantasy category at the 2025 SBS Drama Awards.

The ceremony took place on the 31st at the SBS Prism Tower in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, with broadcaster Shin Dong-yup and actors Chae Won-bin and Heo Nam-jun serving as hosts.

Yook Sung-jae expressed his gratitude, saying, "I am honored to receive such a valuable award. I feel it's only right to first thank the fans who have always been my confidence and support throughout my 13-year career. I am so grateful and love them dearly."

He continued, "Through the project 'The Haunted Palace,' I discovered the rich and fascinating traditional spirits of Korea. I'm honored to have been part of a work that can introduce these interesting elements globally. I am thankful to everyone involved and will strive to be an actor worthy of this prestigious award."

Kim Ji-yeon also shared her appreciation, stating, "I am grateful to all the viewers. The filming was challenging due to the nature of the genre, but it was a happy and thankful time that made the hardships worthwhile. I'm so nervous. Thank you to my family, friends, and fans watching from home. I am grateful for this overwhelming award and will repay it with great performances."
