Ahn Jae-hyun Opens Up About Past Rumors and Surprising Music Video Twist

Actor Ahn Jae-hyun candidly addressed past rumors from his modeling days and revealed a surprising behind-the-scenes story from K.Will's music video.

On the YouTube channel 'Hong Seok-cheon's Jewel Box,' operated by broadcaster Hong Seok-cheon, a video titled 'Top Gay's 2025 Confession: The Last Jewel Ahn Jae-hyun of 2025' was uploaded.

In the video, Ahn Jae-hyun reunited with Hong Seok-cheon, with whom he has a long-standing friendship, engaging in a lighthearted yet sincere conversation.

Ahn Jae-hyun and Hong Seok-cheon have maintained their friendship since working together in the 2014 film 'Fashion King.' Hong Seok-cheon praised Ahn's thoughtful and kind nature, wearing a pair of expensive glasses gifted by Ahn. He jokingly remarked, "Ahn Jae-hyun expresses his emotions so beautifully that I almost misunderstood," highlighting Ahn's good-hearted personality.

Ahn reminisced about his popularity even before his modeling debut. He shared, "During school days, I would prepare a bag for gifts on Pepero Day and intentionally arrive late to school," enjoying the attention from others. Hong Seok-cheon also praised Ahn's appearance, noting his universally appealing charm.

Notably, Ahn addressed the 'gay rumors' from his modeling days with an unexpected response. He expressed gratitude for such rumors, stating, "As a model, it was actually a compliment." Ahn believed the rumors arose because he successfully embodied the female-centric fashion trends of the time, showcasing his maturity in handling the situation.

Ahn also shared behind-the-scenes insights from K.Will's music video 'Please Don't,' which gained massive attention for its bromance with Seo In-guk. He revealed, "I had no idea the ending would be so shocking," and only learned about it after filming concluded. Ahn later met with Seo In-guk and K.Will to propose new projects, leading to the creation of the follow-up song 'No Love Song Suits Me,' expressing his deep gratitude to K.Will.

Meanwhile, Ahn Jae-hyun married actress Goo Hye-sun in 2016 but divorced in 2020.
