Actress Ji Ye-eun Reflects on a Challenging Year Amidst Criticism

Actress Ji Ye-eun opened up about her challenging year in a recent video.

On December 25, Song Ji-hyo's channel featured a video titled "Christmas Party (ft. Kim Jong-kook, Yang Se-chan, Ji Ye-eun)."

In the video, Song Ji-hyo suggested, "Let's talk about what we want to praise ourselves for this year." During the conversation, Kim Jong-kook mentioned, "Ye-eun had a great year, work-wise." Ji Ye-eun responded, "It was a good year, but I also faced criticism," and couldn't continue.

Kim Jong-kook comforted her, saying, "As a celebrity, you have to accept that. Some people dislike you for no reason, even if you haven't done anything wrong. Don't worry too much." Song Ji-hyo also offered thoughtful advice, hoping Ji Ye-eun would become less sensitive to external reactions.

Previously, Ji Ye-eun faced controversy in July over her behavior during a broadcast. The issue arose during an SBS 'Running Man' episode where she hosted the members at her home, and her attitude towards the guests was criticized.

In August, she paused all activities due to a thyroid condition but returned to 'Running Man' after a three-week break.
