Jinyoung Reveals His Ideal Type and Reflects on His Acting Journey

Jinyoung recently opened up about his ideal type.

On the YouTube channel 'Hong Seok-cheon's Jewel Box,' hosted by broadcaster Hong Seok-cheon, a video titled 'The Good Guy Loved by the Top Gay of That Era' was uploaded.

In the video, Hong Seok-cheon asked Jinyoung about his ideal type. Jinyoung responded, "A polite person," adding, "I believe that external appearances don't last long."

Jinyoung further explained, "That's why having a genuinely kind heart is a crucial point for me." Following Jinyoung's confession, Kim Ddol-ddol humorously pretended to pick up trash from the ground, acting politely, which elicited laughter.

Continuing the conversation, Hong Seok-cheon asked Jinyoung about his school days. Jinyoung recalled, "Living in Chungju, there were hardly any aspiring entertainers at the time. But since I aspired to be an entertainer, I took on minor roles during my school days because I wanted to act."

Hong Seok-cheon praised Jinyoung's work, saying, "He has done well in significant projects. I realized 'he's really good at acting' when he played dual roles in a soul-switching genre." Jinyoung reflected on the challenge, saying, "It was really difficult. It involved a soul switch between a gangster and a student, so I had to act as a gangster while being a student."

Additionally, Jinyoung mentioned, "I participate in at least one song for the OST of the dramas I appear in. The advantage is that no one understands the character's emotions better than I do, so when I write, the lyrics come out more meaningful." Hong Seok-cheon and Kim Ddol-ddol praised Jinyoung, calling him "the best groom material who also earns well," drawing attention.
