Park Seo-jun and Won Ji-an face each other's hidden scars in the latest episode of JTBC's weekend drama 'Surely Tomorrow'.

In the third episode aired on the 13th, Lee Kyung-do (played by Park Seo-jun) confronts Seo Ji-woo (played by Won Ji-an) as she attempts to flee, revealing long-held emotional burdens. The episode's viewership ratings dropped by 0.2% points to 3.1% compared to the previous episode.

Lee Kyung-do stops Seo Ji-woo just before her departure, asking, “Is running away your specialty?” He tries various excuses to keep her in Korea. Seo Ji-woo, frustrated and claiming she has nowhere to go, decides to stay at Kyung-do's house, leading to a reluctant agreement from him.

Returning home from work, Kyung-do is taken aback to find Ji-woo drunk and wearing an orange T-shirt filled with their memories. Despite scolding her like a concerned parent, he gently brushes her hair as she falls asleep in his arms, revealing his cautious affection.

Kyung-do, having inadvertently let his ex-girlfriend stay at his place, avoids her by staying at saunas and dormitories. Despite this, he continues to urge Ji-woo to quit drinking, leaving viewers curious.

Seo Ji-woo learns from her club senior, Park Se-young (played by Lee Joo-young), why Kyung-do dislikes drinking. After their second breakup, Kyung-do underwent treatment for alcoholism due to the aftermath. Realizing how Kyung-do coped alone after she left, Ji-woo is overwhelmed with emotion and seeks him out.

However, Ji-woo's clumsy expression leads her to lash out at Kyung-do. His long-buried resentment surfaces as he retorts, “If you were going to leave like that, you shouldn't have come back.” It was a heartfelt cry from Kyung-do, who endured the pain of being abandoned twice. As they share unspoken words, a mix of bittersweet and relieved emotions linger on their faces.

Returning home, Ji-woo shocks everyone by confessing to her mother, Jang Hyun-kyung (played by Nam Gi-ae), that she knows she is an illegitimate child. Despite this revelation, her mother's cold blame wounds Ji-woo, leaving her in despair.

Meanwhile, Kyung-do rushes to Ji-woo's house late at night. Park Se-young, feeling uneasy due to Ji-woo's silence, calls Kyung-do. Upon entering the house, Kyung-do is shocked to find Ji-woo unconscious. The reason behind Ji-woo's drastic decision and her true feelings draw intense interest.
