Daesung Apologizes on Behalf of GD on 'Amazing Saturday' and Shares Memories with Taeyeon
During the show, Daesung shared a special connection with '2nd generation idol' Girls' Generation's Taeyeon. Affectionately calling her 'Yeoni', Daesung reminisced, "I met Yeoni on 'Family Outing' in 2008. We decided to speak informally since we were the same age."
He humorously added, "There was almost a love line with Yeoni, but I told the PD, 'This doesn't seem right for Yeoni,' and declined. This is the first time I've seen her since then."
Daesung also showcased his seniority in the music industry by advising Seo Eunkwang, who was hesitant to promote his sold-out concert, "You only know one thing and not the other. This could be an opportunity for additional shows. Why not accept the love being offered?"
In the dictation segment, NMIXX's 'Blue Valentine' was featured. Daesung criticized the unclear pronunciation, saying, "The music industry is problematic. You shouldn't alter Hangul like this." When Boom mentioned it started with GD, Daesung quickly apologized, "I'm sorry, it's my brother," bringing more laughter.
Meanwhile, Daesung actively promoted his new trot song 'Over the Limit', produced with GD and Kush.
