Kim Woo-bin Shines as the 'Perfect Husband Material' on tvN's 'Kong Kong Pang Pang'
On the October 12th episode of tvN's 'Kong Kong Pang Pang: Overseas Exploration for Laughter and Happiness,' KKPP Food representatives Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Woo-bin, and Do Kyung-soo held a performance report meeting after their exploration in Mexico, sharing various episodes.
During the broadcast, after completing their 7-night, 8-day journey in Mexico, Kim Woo-bin, Lee Kwang-soo, and Do Kyung-soo prepared a performance report by hand for a briefing in front of company executives in Seoul. Despite having access to tools like PowerPoint, they questioned why they had to create the report manually. When the production team expressed doubts about having 'skilled personnel' to handle PowerPoint, Kim Woo-bin humorously revealed, "I have a Level 3 Word Processor certification," showcasing his unexpected skills. Lee Kwang-soo, upon learning that the report would be displayed in an exhibition, humorously scolded Do Kyung-soo for his hasty work, saying, "It's going to be exhibited! It's not just moving boxes!"
In the briefing, Lee Kwang-soo humorously pointed out the limitations of "insufficient budget for the travel distance" and "increased stress levels among employees due to the finance team's AI-like behavior," playfully targeting the finance officer. When CEO Ko Joong-seok noted the remaining special expenses of about 1.5 million won, finance officer Kim Woo-bin explained, "It was our first overseas cultural exploration and the finance team's first accompaniment," adding, "The pressure we felt couldn't overcome our sense of challenge." He further clarified, "We focused on achieving our goals without wasting the company's money," convincing CEO Ko.
Later, Lee Kwang-soo, Kim Woo-bin, and Do Kyung-soo held a new menu presentation, inspired by their memories of Mexico, featuring tripe tacos and mango con chile. Do Kyung-soo, in charge of cooking, aimed to recreate over 95% of the authentic Mexican taste, while Kim Woo-bin handled ingredient preparation and dishwashing, showcasing his 'sexy cooking man' side. When Lee Kwang-soo tried to wash vegetables in hot water due to cold hands, Do Kyung-soo scolded him, and Kim Woo-bin humorously made loud chopping sounds, saying, "You tell him, Ra, that Lee Kwang-soo and I are on different levels," eliciting laughter. As Do Kyung-soo praised Kim Woo-bin for his diligent assistance, PD Na Young-seok admired, "It's been a while since I've seen someone clean up while working in the kitchen," praising his work ethic. Kim Woo-bin responded, "Doesn't a clean restaurant kitchen make the food taste better?" emphasizing his attention to cleanliness.
While heading to a taco shop by boat, the group enjoyed their last meal of Mexican food, expressing satisfaction. When Do Kyung-soo thanked his brothers for driving, Kim Woo-bin teased, "You only say that because the camera is on," and Lee Kwang-soo jokingly added, "If you're really grateful, can you give us some money or a gift?"
After the new menu presentation, Kim Woo-bin emerged as the winner with three votes in the combined capability evaluation by the staff and executives. Lee Kwang-soo, realizing no staff voted for him, humorously protested, "Don't film me," while Kim Woo-bin received a Mexican gift set as a prize.
