Drama 'Dynamite Kiss' Reaches New Heights with Romantic Twist
The 10th episode of SBS's Wednesday-Thursday drama 'Dynamite Kiss' aired on the 11th, achieving a nationwide viewership rating of 6.6% and a peak rating of 7.8%.
In this episode, Gong Ji-hyuk (played by Jang Ki-yong) and Go Da-rim (played by Ahn Eun-jin) finally acknowledged their love after a long journey. The heartfelt kiss ending left viewers anticipating the sweet romance that lies ahead for the couple.
Previously, Gong Ji-hyuk learned that Kim Sun-woo (played by Kim Mu-jun) had confessed to Go Da-rim and held onto her tightly, saying, "Don't go. I don't want to let you go," before kissing her passionately. However, Go Da-rim, still under the misconception that Gong Ji-hyuk was engaged to Yoo Ha-young (played by Woo Da-vi), pushed him away. Despite Gong Ji-hyuk's confession of love, Go Da-rim doubted that he could truly like someone like her, who had nothing and had lied.
Still, Go Da-rim couldn't believe Gong Ji-hyuk's feelings for her. However, her mother's advice to "look at actions, not words" made her think of Gong Ji-hyuk. From their first meeting in Jeju Island to the present, Gong Ji-hyuk had always appeared when she was in trouble, protecting her. It was then that Go Da-rim realized Gong Ji-hyuk's sincerity.
Soon after, a photo exhibition prepared by the Mother TF team, Yoo Ha-young, and Kim Sun-woo took place. Yoo Tae-young (Yoo Ha-young's brother, played by Jung Hwan), who had been suspicious, also attended. Gong Ji-hyuk spotted a mysterious man carrying a gasoline can and followed him, leading to a brawl. Gong Ji-hyuk was knocked unconscious during the attack. As expected, a fire broke out, and Go Da-rim rushed into the flames to save the trapped Gong Ji-hyuk.
Go Da-rim carried the unconscious Gong Ji-hyuk out of the building. When he awoke, Gong Ji-hyuk embraced her tightly and confessed, "There's no reason why I like you. I just like you because you're you. Just because you're Go Da-rim. I love you." Moved to tears, Go Da-rim expressed her feelings with a kiss.
