Lee Junho Returns with Netflix's 'Cashero' After 'Typhoon Office' Finale

Actor Lee Junho, who recently starred alongside Kim Min-ha in the romantic drama 'Typhoon Office,' is making a swift return to the screen with Netflix's 'Cashero,' set to premiere just a month after the former's conclusion.

Scheduled for release on December 26, 'Cashero' follows the story of 'Sang-woong,' a salaried worker struggling with wedding expenses and housing costs, who gains a unique superpower: the more money he holds, the stronger he becomes. This intriguing premise sets the stage for a relatable hero narrative where Sang-woong must navigate the delicate balance between everyday expenses and newfound superpowers.

The teaser poster reveals 'Sang-woong' (played by Lee Junho) clutching money that disintegrates into dust, his expression filled with concern. The tagline, "What should I do? They want me to do good deeds while spending my money," vividly portrays Sang-woong's dilemma as he transitions from a penny-pinching civil servant saving for his wedding to 'Cashero,' a superpowered individual whose cash vanishes with each use of his abilities. The tagline "My Money, My Power, Cash Hero" further piques curiosity about this new kind of hero.

The teaser trailer introduces Sang-woong's superpower to his fiancée, 'Min-sook' (played by Kim Hye-jun), showing that while he gains strength by holding money, using that strength causes the money to disappear. This power is humorously compared to 'gochujang and cho-gochujang' or 'flies and fruit flies,' as Sang-woong laments his empty wallet, blending humor with pathos.
