Kim Min-ha Discusses On-Screen Romance with Lee Jun-ho in 'Typhoon Company'

Actress Kim Min-ha recently opened up about her on-screen romance with Lee Jun-ho.

In a recent interview at a café in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, Kim Min-ha, who stars in tvN's 'Typhoon Company,' shared her thoughts on the show.

'Typhoon Company' is set during the 1997 IMF crisis and follows the journey of Kang Tae-pung (played by Lee Jun-ho), a novice businessman who unexpectedly becomes the CEO of a struggling trading company. Kim Min-ha plays Oh Mi-seon, the company's ace accountant known for her sharp sense of reality.

Kim addressed some viewers' opinions that the romance between her character and Lee Jun-ho's character disrupts the show's flow. She commented, "I understand where they're coming from, and it ultimately comes down to personal preference. I can see why some might feel that way."

She continued, "We were also concerned that the romance might appear too late or seem sudden. Some viewers shared this sentiment, and we humbly accept it. Everyone has different tastes."

Kim concluded by highlighting the show's message, saying, "While some viewers might have felt frustrated, the story ultimately leads to a 'living well' conclusion. I believe the series portrays the reality of ongoing crises, yet it also offers hope and love, providing comfort to viewers."
