Hyun Young Opens Up About Marital Struggles and Near Divorce Experience

Korean entertainer Hyun Young recently shared a candid story about a conflict with her husband that led her to contemplate divorce.

On the YouTube channel 'Hyungsoo is K.Will,' which aired on the 3rd, Hyun Young appeared as a guest.

During the episode, K.Will asked Hyun Young if there was anything she had given up on nagging her husband about. Hyun Young humorously replied, "There are many things my husband has given up on with me, but I haven't given up on anything."

Hyun Young discussed the differences in lifestyle habits between her and her husband. She explained, "My husband insists on folding the blankets neatly even if we use the bed, and he doesn't like any water spots on the sink." She continued, "That's why we installed two faucets during our home renovation. One is mine, and the other is my husband's. His side is always dry and tidy, while mine always has water spots." She added, "He has separate sets for nail clippers and ear picks and tells me not to touch his things."

When K.Will asked, "So who is adjusting to whom?" Hyun Young replied, "We live our own ways, but my husband keeps nagging."

Hyun Young also opened up about a conflict that arose early in their marriage. She said, "I love spreading out my cosmetics and trying different things. One day, I came home from work, and my dressing table was too clean. It turned out my husband had swept all my cosmetics into a shopping bag and put it in the bathtub. That day, I thought about divorce."

When K.Will commented, "But he didn't throw them away," Hyun Young emphasized, "Even though he didn't throw them away, sweeping my precious cosmetics into a bag and hiding them was a huge blow to my pride."

This incident occurred during their first year of marriage. Hyun Young explained, "I think my husband had been holding back a lot. He kept talking about it, but I wasn't listening, so he finally couldn't take it anymore and cleaned it up."
