'Taxi Driver 3' Dominates November Ratings, Tops All Channels in Just Two Weeks
SBS's Friday-Saturday drama 'Taxi Driver 3' follows the secretive taxi company Rainbow Transport and its driver Kim Do-gi, played by Lee Je-hoon, as they deliver justice on behalf of wronged victims. This marks Lee Je-hoon's return to the lead role, two years after 'Taxi Driver 2' aired in 2023.
In episodes 3 and 4, Kim Do-gi and the Rainbow Heroes take down the 'used car villain' Cha Byung-jin, portrayed by Yoon Si-yoon, and his gang, who have been wreaking havoc on the lives of ordinary citizens. The thrilling takedown provided viewers with a cathartic experience, especially as Do-gi transformed into 'Hogu Do-gi' to infiltrate Cha's operations. The 'eye for an eye' retribution against the villains who sold flood-damaged cars had audiences cheering.
Furthermore, 'Taxi Driver 3' ranked first in the drama category of the TV-OTT buzz rankings for the fourth week of November (November 24-30), as reported by Good Data Corporation's FUNdex. It also maintained the top position in Netflix's 'Top 10 Series in Korea' as of December 2, and episodes 1-4 have an average rating of 9.5 on IMDb, the world's largest content rating site, as of December 2.
'Taxi Driver 3' airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM.
