SBS Show 'Dolsing Fourmen' Faces Third Preemption Due to 'Our Ballad' Finale

SBS's variety show 'Dolsing Fourmen,' which has maintained a 2% viewership rating for nine consecutive weeks, will be preempted once again. This marks the third time the show has been preempted due to the airing of 'Our Ballad.'

According to the SBS schedule, the finale of 'Our Ballad' will air live on November 2nd from 9 PM to 11:50 PM, causing 'Dolsing Fourmen' to be preempted.

Since May, 'Dolsing Fourmen' has been rescheduled from 9 PM to 10:40 PM, resulting in a noticeable decline in viewership ratings. Previously maintaining ratings between 4-5%, the show has seen its ratings drop to the 2% range for five consecutive weeks after the time slot change.

After stabilizing in the mid-3% range, 'Dolsing Fourmen' faced two consecutive weeks of preemption due to the extended airing of 'Our Ballad,' leading to frequent scheduling delays. The episode aired on September 30th recorded a low of 2.0%, and the show has not surpassed the 2% range for nine weeks.

The show has also faced criticism as regular members Kim Jun-ho and Lee Sang-min remarried, leading to negative feedback that the program has lost its original intent. Despite calls for their departure, the show's producers stated, "As they embark on new lives, the program's narrative has expanded. It's not just about the pain of divorce but also about finding love again and discussing life from a new perspective," confirming that there will be no changes in the cast.

On the November 25th episode, Tak Jae-hoon humorously criticized Kim Jun-ho and Lee Sang-min, saying, "You two are here for the crime of murdering viewership ratings," and added, "Didn't you both lower the ratings by getting married against your will?"
