Kang Tae-oh's Anger Erupts as Souls Swap Again in 'The Moon Flows Over the River'
Kang Tae-oh's character, Lee Kang, experiences a surge of anger as his soul swaps with Kim Se-jeong's character, Park Dal-i, once again.

In the 7th episode of MBC's 'The Moon Flows Over the River' aired on the 28th at 9:40 PM, Lee Kang, portrayed by Kang Tae-oh, finds solace in the arms of Park Dal-i, played by Kim Se-jeong, after feeling betrayed.

During the episode, Lee Kang and Park Dal-i's bodies switch back, and they face betrayal from Lee Woon (Lee Shin-young) and the schemes of Kim Han-chul (Jin Goo), which put them in a difficult position. Lee Kang, now in Park Dal-i's body, becomes a court lady. Concerned for Park Dal-i's safety, Lee Kang tries to avoid her but eventually joins her on a secret mission to resolve the Gyesanyeon incident after hearing of Lee Woon's recovery.

However, Lee Kang discovers Lee Woon's betrayal. Lee Woon lies about not being able to find the son of the Jinjoo owner to prevent Kim Woo-hee (Hong Soo-joo) from becoming a slave. When the son appears and questions why his existence is hidden in Manchu, Lee Kang, who understands the language, confirms the betrayal by checking a neck scar and becomes furious. Park Dal-i comforts the hurt Lee Kang, saying, "Why hide it, just cry," but Lee Kang, reminded of the deceased queen, pushes her away.

Lee Woon, labeled a traitor, dons official robes and finds Kim Woo-hee lingering around his house, urging her to hide better. He then approaches Park Dal-i with a book containing all the information from the Qing boy, claiming Kim Han-chul still possesses the Jinjoo. Lee Woon pleads to spare Kim Woo-hee even if Kim Han-chul is brought down, but Park Dal-i draws a line, saying she will consider who is more desperate between them.

Lee Kang decides to capture the Jinjoo living on private land to completely bring down Kim Han-chul, resolving his anger towards Lee Woon's cowardice. Meanwhile, Heo Young-gam (Choi Deok-moon) warns Kim Han-chul to stop his revenge, saying it would be meaningless to continue.

Jang So-gung presents a poem written by Lee Kang in Park Dal-i's body as a love letter to Kim Han-chul, who, fueled by revenge, orders Park Dal-i's death.

Park Dal-i, seeking a way to approach the Jinjoo, visits a physician and shows the Jinjoo manager's mask to hunters. The next day, the hunters are killed, and Lee Kang retrieves a scent box dropped by the Jinjoo manager from a lone elderly woman. On the way back to the palace, Lee Kang is captured by Dal-i's father (Im Ki-hong) and mother (Park Bo-kyung) and meets Park Hong-nan (Park Ah-in), leading to a confession of their body swap.

Feeling guilty for the hunters' deaths, Lee Kang is reminded by Park Dal-i that he saved her from consuming infertility medicine. Touched by Lee Kang's fight for her dream, Park Dal-i bluntly asks if he likes her.

Kim Han-chul accuses Park Dal-i of having an affair with the Crown Prince and orders her capture, leading to the imprisonment of Lee Kang (Kim Se-jeong) and Lee Woon (Lee Shin-young). Remembering Park Hong-nan's request to release Park Dal-i once their bodies return, Lee Kang hides his feelings and pushes Park Dal-i away. In the cell, Lee Kang tells Park Dal-i that admitting to writing the love letter would make her a concubine, expressing his disdain for unwanted marriages and concubines.

As Park Dal-i leaves the cell, she recalls Lee Kang's words, realizing the world revolves around him, and laments that she is the protagonist of her own life, believing the body swap was a divine punishment. Discovering a love letter Lee Kang wrote to the deceased queen, Park Dal-i decides to save him, suspecting it was meant for her. She approaches the Grand Queen Dowager Han (Nam Gi-ae) to propose making Lee Kang a concubine. Meanwhile, she finds Lee Kang being flogged and shields him, taking the lashes herself. As her blood mixes with the rain, their bodies return to normal, and a furious Lee Kang vows revenge, declaring, "Fine, I'll kill them all."
