Wonder Girls' Yubin and KARA's Nicole Reveal Past Idol Dating Experiences

Yubin from Wonder Girls and Nicole from KARA, two iconic second-generation girl groups, candidly shared their experiences of being approached by male idols during their active years, revealing the heated dating scene among idols.

On the YouTube channel 'Geunbon Channel', a video titled 'Nicole & Yubin, the Real Hierarchy of 2nd Generation Idols Wonder Girls, KARA, and Girls' Generation' was uploaded, hosted by Super Junior's Shindong on his segment 'Shindong's Dongdongpocha'.

In the video, Lee Jang-jun playfully asked the duo, "It seems like you must have received a lot of advances from male idols during your activities. Can you show us how many with your fingers?" Shindong chimed in, jokingly agreeing that it must have been overwhelming.

Yubin hesitated to answer, prompting Lee Jang-jun to tease, "Do you need more than your fingers and toes to count them?" Yubin only smiled, hinting at the numerous advances she received. When Shindong asked if members from the same group ever approached her consecutively, Yubin replied, "That never happened within the same group. It seems everyone got along well."

Nicole continued with her honest confessions about past advances. She admitted, "I was quite oblivious when I was younger. If someone hinted at liking me indirectly, I wouldn't catch on." She added, "I needed straightforward words to understand, so even if they approached me, I'd unknowingly push them away with a simple 'hello'."

Curious about how idols exchanged numbers before smartphones, Lee Jang-jun asked for insights. Shindong humorously revealed that the 'radio booth' was a secret dating tip spot, making everyone laugh. He explained, "The best place is the radio booth. When guests come, there's no manager, no PD, just us. No one knows what we talk about when the music plays." However, Nicole and Yubin denied ever using such a method, leaving Shindong to humorously expose his 'secret dating skills' alone.
