Singer Bada Pays Heartfelt Tribute to the Late Lee Soon-jae

Singer Bada has paid tribute to the late Lee Soon-jae.

On the 26th, Bada shared a heartfelt message on her social media account, beginning with, "Teacher, it's your immature student, Bada."

Bada reflected on her early career, stating, "I debuted as an idol at a young age, not knowing the harsh realities of the world. There were many days when I stumbled over questions I couldn't answer and couldn't see the way forward. During those times, you always listened to my immature and unripe questions and provided me with answers as ripe as figs."

She continued, recalling Lee Soon-jae's words of wisdom: "These are thoughts that come because life is new to you. It's natural for it to be hard. It's proof that you're doing well without taking shortcuts. So endure and push through. Listen to your heart and go all the way. Your name, Bada, will be waiting for you there. Don't give up if you want to see that sea." Bada added, "On days when I cried a lot and struggled, your words were like light. I can't forget the days I wiped my tears, clenched my fists, and stood up again."

She expressed her gratitude, saying, "I'm so sorry that I have no way to repay those grateful days when you shared stories of adults with the eyes of a child." She concluded, "Our teacher, who was like a sun resembling a flower, rest in peace in a good place."

Lee Soon-jae passed away in the early hours of the 25th at the age of 91. His memorial is set up at Room 30 of the Seoul Asan Hospital Funeral Hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul. The funeral will take place on the 27th at 6:20 AM, and the burial site is Eden Paradise in Icheon, Gyeonggi Province.
