Sung Si-kyung Shows Loyalty to Jo Se-ho Amidst Financial Fraud Scandal

Korean singer Sung Si-kyung, who recently fell victim to financial fraud by his manager, demonstrated his loyalty by personally delivering a wedding gift to comedian Jo Se-ho.

On the 24th, the YouTube channel 'Jjanhanyoung Shin Dong-yup' featured a video titled 'Se-ho Chang-hee, Are You Here? Sung Si-kyung Is Here???' The episode included guests Jo Se-ho and Nam Chang-hee from 'Jo Namjidae,' with Sung Si-kyung making a surprise appearance.

Sung Si-kyung's unexpected arrival during the filming left everyone astonished. Although a longtime friend of Shin Dong-yup, this was Sung's first appearance on 'Jjanhanyoung.' He explained that he decided to join the show after hearing about Jo Se-ho and Nam Chang-hee's participation the previous day. Shin Dong-yup shared, "I was hosting an event yesterday, and Si-kyung was the final performer. We had a drink afterward, and when I mentioned today's filming, he said he'd come if he had time."

Sung Si-kyung congratulated Jo Se-ho, who got married last October, saying, "Congratulations on your marriage. I couldn't attend the wedding due to a schedule in Ulsan. Don't open it; I put in just a little," as he handed over a belated wedding gift.

Sung humorously added, "I felt bad for missing the wedding, and I haven't had a chance to drink with Chang-hee. He's a really well-regarded friend. Compared to him, Se-ho doesn't have the best reputation; he's a bit opportunistic," he joked.

Sung Si-kyung continued, "I've wanted to drop by like this a few times before, but it didn't seem respectful to the guests. But since I'm close with Jo Se-ho and wanted to give him a wedding gift, I came."

Expressing envy over Jo Se-ho's marriage, Sung asked, "Where did you meet such a beautiful woman?" He then shared a personal anecdote, "A fly came into my house, and I liked it because I was lonely. I named it France. It showed itself for a week and then dried up and died," revealing his loneliness.

During a discussion about the culture of seniors treating juniors to meals and drinks, Sung advised Jo Se-ho, who was offering to pay for drinks, "Don't make juniors pay for drinks." He added, "I've been treated by my seniors so much, and now I spend it on my juniors," generously offering to cover the drinks for the day.

Meanwhile, Sung Si-kyung recently became a victim of financial fraud by his manager of over a decade. The manager allegedly embezzled VIP concert tickets, resold them, and funneled the profits into an account under his wife's name, amassing illicit gains worth millions.
