Korean Entertainer Pyeon Seung-yeop Reveals Why He Skipped Wedding Ceremony with Fourth Wife
On the October 23rd episode of SBS's variety show 'My Little Old Boy,' Im Won-hee and Kim Jun-ho met with 'Remarriage Experts' Park Young-gyu, Pyeon Seung-yeop, and Um Young-soo.
During the episode, Pyeon Seung-yeop revealed, "I actually have a fourth wife. We remarried in 2010," explaining why he kept it a secret for 15 years by saying, "It's not something to brag about." He also shared that his wife is two years younger and it was her first marriage.
Kim Jun-ho, who recently married Kim Ji-min, commented, "I had a grand wedding in the remarriage community. It was really big. I wanted a small one, but since it was Ji-min's first marriage, we went big."
However, he admitted that he didn't have a wedding ceremony with his current wife. Pyeon Seung-yeop explained, "After the wedding, all three times, they ran away. My wives asked for a divorce first. I was afraid it would happen again."
When asked if his wife wanted a wedding ceremony, Pyeon Seung-yeop replied, "She does want one. I was afraid of going through that again before. Now, I think it's possible. A wedding ceremony is a public declaration and a commitment that this is the last time."
