Taste Adventure: 'Mattews' Embark on Epic Jeju Culinary Journey

The 'Mattews' team, consisting of Kim Dae-ho, Ahn Jae-hyun, Tzuyang, and Jonathan, embarked on an epic culinary journey across Jeju Island, from the airport to the sea. Despite its unique concept, the show 'Where to Bounce' has been recording low ratings since its premiere on September 21.

The variety show 'Where to Bounce' (also known as 'Eotwilla'), co-produced by ENA, NXT, and Comedy TV, is a no-script, no-preplanned course adventure where the team visits authentic restaurants recommended by local chefs. In the 10th episode aired on the 23rd, the 'Mattews' successfully completed a one-day, three-restaurant relay across Jeju Island.

Starting their journey at Gimpo Airport, the team headed to their first destination, a famous hairtail stew restaurant in Jeju City. Ahn Jae-hyun expressed his excitement, comparing the experience to a spontaneous trip to Japan for sushi.

The first restaurant, known for its signature dishes of grilled and stewed hairtail and skewers, captivated the team with its unique flavors. Tzuyang, known for her appetite, humorously declared her love for fish, even asking for the bones to savor every bit. Kim Dae-ho praised the straightforward taste, even sneaking a bite from Tzuyang's bowl, prompting laughter.

The restaurant owner recommended another gem, a duck restaurant in Seogwipo City, known for its secret recipes. Tzuyang was particularly impressed, wishing to take the sauces and meats home. The team engaged in a lively discussion on the best way to enjoy the duck soup.

For the first time, the 'Mattews' enjoyed a meal on a boat. Tzuyang, unfazed by seasickness, suggested catching squid while Jonathan, a novice at fishing, surprisingly caught fish with ease. Kim Dae-ho, who left MBC in February, was humorously teased by Jonathan.

Ahn Jae-hyun was moved by the seafood ramen enjoyed at sunset, calling it a memorable experience. Tzuyang declared it her new favorite, finishing every last drop.

The boat captain, who introduced them to the unforgettable ramen, recommended a pork cutlet restaurant in Jeju, ensuring the team's return to the island for the third consecutive week. Viewers eagerly anticipate whether the 'Mattews' will venture beyond Jeju in the next episode of 'Eotwilla'.
