Tensions Rise as Kang Tae-poong Fights for Control of 'Typhoon Corporation'

Kang Tae-poong (played by Lee Junho) signs a guarantee to reclaim 'Typhoon Corporation'.

In the 14th episode of tvN's 'Typhoon Corporation' aired on the 23rd, Kang Tae-poong is seen writing a guarantee to Pyo Bak-ho (played by Kim Sang-ho), wagering the position of president of Typhoon Corporation.

In the past, Pyo Bak-ho had written an IOU to Kang Tae-poong's father, Kang Jin-young (played by Sung Dong-il), for a loan of 40 million won. Upon discovering this, Kang Tae-poong provocatively questioned, "How much would 40 million won from 9 years ago be now? With interest, does this building belong to me?"

Pyo Bak-ho, unable to contain his anger, grabbed Kang Tae-poong by the collar, to which Kang retorted, "Relax. I'm not interested in this building. Return the 300 gloves in the warehouse. Isn't that a loss for me?"

Ultimately, Pyo Bak-ho offered to return the IOU in exchange for a guarantee, stating, "The position of president at 'Typhoon Corporation'? Is it worth it? To keep such a trivial position," and wrote in the guarantee that if Kang Tae-poong failed to keep his promise, he would 'immediately resign from Typhoon Corporation'.

Leaving Pyo Bak-ho's office with a heavy heart, Kang Tae-poong met Oh Mi-sun (played by Kim Min-ha). Embracing him, Oh Mi-sun said, "Just stay like this for a moment. I really want to comfort you," to which Kang replied, "I'm fine, but I feel sorry for my father," expressing his regret. Oh Mi-sun sincerely comforted him, saying, "Your father would have said you did well."

Meanwhile, on the day he was supposed to retrieve the IOU, Kang Tae-poong went to meet Pyo Sang-ho but was blocked from entering the company lobby. Once he managed to enter the office, he was confronted not by Pyo Sang-ho but by Pyo Hyun-joon, who said, "Why do you keep looking for my father? I'm the representative, so if you have something to say, say it to me."

Kang Tae-poong boldly wrote on the wall with a marker, "You all saw me here. I came on the scheduled date," and confidently left the office.

Returning to his office, Kang Tae-poong held a tape-cutting ceremony with his employees, cheering, "Typhoon Corporation, fighting!" and took a group photo. Meanwhile, as the employees discussed Pyo Bak-ho's disappearance, Bae Song-jung (played by Lee Sang-jin) returned from taking a call, suddenly packing his bag in a panic. He tearfully told Kang Tae-poong, "My father is dying."
