Tensions Rise Between 'I Am Solo' Season 22's Young-sook and Season 1's Young-chul

The conflict between Young-sook from Season 22 and Young-chul from Season 1 of 'I Am Solo' is drawing attention.

On the YouTube channel 'Village Chief Entertainment' run by 'I Am Solo' producer Nam Gyu-hong, a video titled '22 Young-sook Shocked by Sudden Remarks from 1 Young-chul' was uploaded.

In the video, Young-chul, who appeared in the first season of 'I Am Solo,' made an appearance. Although he ended up with a different woman as the final couple on the show, he married Young-sook after the broadcast. However, the two later announced their divorce. Regarding the possibility of appearing on a special episode for divorced singles, Young-chul from Season 1 stated, "Of course, there have been talks," adding, "But it's not just about me; we need to consider her opinion too. It's not just a solo decision; it's obviously a 1+1 situation."

He continued, "We were a real couple," and added, "But she's in pain." Young-chul explained his refusal to appear, saying, "If this becomes an issue again and surfaces, it will cause her pain."

Later, Young-chul from Season 1 got into a verbal altercation with Young-sook from Season 22. Young-sook from Season 22 demanded that Young-chul from Season 1 remove his sunglasses, but he refused. In an interview, Young-sook from Season 22 commented, "It's not even broad daylight, and it seems like he's trying to avoid eye contact with us."

However, when the production team asked Young-chul to remove his sunglasses, he complied, prompting a comment from Young-sook. Young-chul then made a remark about Young-sook's appearance, saying, "Your eyes and nose look a bit strange," and compared her to his ex-wife, stating, "My Young-sook was natural, but the eyes and nose of Young-sook from Season 22 seem unnatural. My ex-wife was beautiful."

Young-chul from Season 22 retorted, "The Young-chul from my season was a doctor," adding, "You can't even compare." To this, Young-chul from Season 1 replied, "So what? I got married." Unable to hold back, Young-sook from Season 22 erupted in anger, and Kwang-soo from Season 25 tried to console her by holding her hand. However, Young-sook from Season 22 broke down in tears, drawing attention.
