Han Hye-jin's Fortune Reveals Marriage Prospects on 'My Ugly Duckling'

Model Han Hye-jin beams with joy at her marriage fortune on the SBS variety show 'My Ugly Duckling' aired on the 16th.

In the episode, Han Hye-jin and Bae Jung-nam visited a fortune teller, Go Chun-ja, who had previously advised actress Kim Go-eun during her 'grave relocation' ritual.

Go Chun-ja, after examining Han Hye-jin, remarked, "Would you like to take my place here? You have the aura of a shaman. You're naturally strong, reading your own fortune as you go." She added, "If you run from the spirits, they come faster. If you weren't a model, you'd be a shaman." As Han Hye-jin tensed up, Bae Jung-nam jokingly told her to prepare.

Go Chun-ja noted, "The Han family has strong energy from above. It's too powerful for me alone, so I called in Da-young Lee, the youngest daughter-in-law shaman." The two were spiritual mother and daughter before becoming in-laws.

Han Hye-jin's spiritual reading was revealed. The shaman said, "You should have been a general in the Han family. Though born a girl, you were raised like a boy. You didn't receive full parental love, contrary to the belief you were pampered like a princess. It's sad and unfortunate. You didn't initially aim to be a model, but now that you're on this path, you'll succeed greatly, though you wish to rest."

Moved to tears, Han Hye-jin shared, "My father married late as the eldest of seven siblings. My mother struggled because I was a daughter when they needed a son quickly. They had my younger brother soon after. He's calm and gentle, the opposite of me."

Watching her daughter confess to living like the eldest son, Han Hye-jin's mother also teared up, saying, "Hye-jin has worked hard, fulfilling the role of the eldest grandson."

At 43, Han Hye-jin was delighted by her marriage fortune. She revealed she supported all her ex-boyfriends financially, joking, "I could have built a house with that money." Reflecting on her past relationships, she said, "I dated them out of pity and compassion."

The shaman predicted, "Your final marriage opportunity will come by the year after next. There's someone you'll marry." Han Hye-jin responded, "Where is he? I'm not seeing anyone now. I thought I'd marry every man I dated." The shaman assured, "This person is different. He's coming. There's a 100% chance of marriage. You'll have a connection with someone younger." Han Hye-jin expressed, "That's the happiest thing I've heard this year."
