Eun Ga-eun and Park Hyun-ho Announce Pregnancy on 'Immortal Songs', Share Heartfelt Moment

Eun Ga-eun and Park Hyun-ho have announced their pregnancy, receiving a wave of congratulations.

On the October 15th episode of KBS2TV's 'Immortal Songs', the show featured a special segment titled 'Famous Figures Special: Dr. Oh Eun-young Part 2'. Performers included Nam Sang-il, Kim Tae-yeon, Jadu, ONEWE, Eun Ga-eun and Park Hyun-ho, and Ali.

During the broadcast, the couple took to the stage to perform Kim Dong-ryul's 'Thank You'. As they sang tenderly to each other, they surprised everyone by revealing an ultrasound video of their baby at the climax of the song, announcing their pregnancy. Fellow performers like Lee Chan-won and Kim Jun-hyun were moved to tears, and the audience erupted in cheers of "Congratulations". After the performance, Park Hyun-ho also shed tears, and the couple embraced, sharing the emotional moment.

MC Lee Chan-won commented, "This is the first time this has been revealed on broadcast," adding, "I actually knew beforehand, and they have named the baby 'Eun-ho', combining parts of their names." He continued, "They met through 'Immortal Songs', got married, and now they're becoming parents." Jadu expressed, "It was beyond touching, it was overwhelming. It's like they showed us the journey from walking alone, to walking together, to walking as three, all wrapped in the language of love and song."

Eun Ga-eun revealed she is six months pregnant, sharing, "We got married in April this year, and the following month, we consulted a doctor for the best time to conceive. We succeeded on the first try." Shin Dong-yup humorously remarked, "That's more information than we needed." Park Hyun-ho added, "We're having a princess," revealing they are expecting a daughter.

During a chat segment, the couple shared some marital concerns with Dr. Oh Eun-young. Eun Ga-eun mentioned, "He does the dishes, cleaning, and recycling, but it takes him a long time," adding, "Sometimes it takes days to do the dishes." Park Hyun-ho explained that he waits until there's a pile to wash. To appease his wife, he said, "I just act silly," showing his playful side, which Lee Chan-won and Kim Jun-hyun noted as a perk of being a younger husband.

Park Hyun-ho asked Dr. Oh Eun-young, "While our daughter is important, my wife's health is paramount. As a first-time dad, what can I do to be a good husband?" Dr. Oh advised, "Express deep and warm love to your spouse and child. Look at them, make eye contact, say 'I love you', and be there during tough times. These expressions make a good husband and father." Shin Dong-yup, speaking as an experienced father, joked, "When the baby arrives, it will be a brief but happy chaos."

On this episode, Eun Ga-eun and Park Hyun-ho received 412 votes from the judging panel, advancing to the next round by surpassing Ali. However, the final victory went to the band ONEWE, who scored 420 votes.
