Model and Actress Jang Yoon-ju Sheds Tears Over Negative Comments

Model and actress Jang Yoon-ju recently broke down in tears while reading negative comments about her appearance.

On the 15th, a video titled "Why Did Jang Yoon-ju Cry While Reading Comments? Behind the Scenes of 'Good Woman Boo Se-mi'" was uploaded to Jang Yoon-ju's channel 'Yoonjure Jang Yoon-ju.'

In the video, Jang Yoon-ju reviewed both positive and negative comments following her role as the villain Ga Sun-young in the recently concluded popular drama 'Good Woman Boo Se-mi.' According to the production team, the video featured a ratio of 8 positive comments to 2 negative ones.

Jang Yoon-ju read a comment saying, "It's infuriating how ugly she is, and her hairstyle is even more annoying," to which she responded with humor, "Do you still think I'd be invited to 'Ugly Friends'? That's in the past. I've never been ugly," showing her unshaken confidence. She added, "I like my face," maintaining her composure.

She further addressed comments about miscasting, saying, "Are you the casting director? The director picked me," displaying her confidence.

Regarding negative comments about her acting, she cleverly replied in character, "It seems like you're talking about our family, but I'm playing Dopamine. You'll miss me if I'm not there," yet she couldn't hide her emotions, admitting, "Reading negative comments makes me cry," revealing her honest side.

Meanwhile, in the ENA drama 'Good Woman Boo Se-mi,' Jang Yoon-ju transformed into Ga Sun-young, the stepdaughter of conglomerate chairman Ga Sung-ho and a professor of theater and film. Her character is a cold-hearted psychopath who uses money and power to get what she wants, disregarding others' emotions. 'Good Woman Boo Se-mi' concluded with a nationwide rating of 7.1%, making it the second-highest-rated show in ENA's history, following 'Extraordinary Attorney Woo.'
