'I Am Solo' Contestant Apologizes for Controversial Behavior During Live Broadcast

'I Am Solo' Season 28 contestant Soon-ja has issued a public apology regarding her controversial behavior during a live broadcast.

On the 14th, Soon-ja took to her social media to express her regrets, stating, "I apologize to everyone who felt uncomfortable watching the live broadcast due to my somber expressions." She explained, "I was extremely nervous in a situation I had never experienced before, and my whole body was tense. I barely managed to continue. The shock from the broadcast filmed six months ago hadn't worn off, and I had to participate in the live broadcast without having time to collect myself."

She continued, "I wanted to enjoy it like a party and lighten the mood, but due to various reasons, I couldn't. I feel very sorry to my fellow contestants." She added, "Since I couldn't see the chat window on site, I didn't know what was being posted in real-time, so I could only continue with one-sided remarks."

During the final episode of SBS Plus and ENA's 'I Am Solo' Season 28, which aired on the 12th, Soon-ja made a blunt comment to Sang-chul, saying, "Do you know what Ok-soon said? She said Sang-chul is an easy man. If people think it's not right, they usually draw a line out of consideration for others. I said I was done, but isn't it like being a second choice?" Sang-chul responded candidly, "I already said I don't want to settle for less."

Despite Sang-chul's firm words, Soon-ja continued, "How many people have rejected you? Hyun-sook, Jung-sook? How does it feel to be constantly rejected by Young-soo's women? Why do you seem like a punching bag? You're being hit from all sides, not hard, but like a neighborhood drum. You're everyone's second choice, everyone's substitute."

In response, Sang-chul calmly retorted, "Don't create that image of me. It's because I'm nice and easygoing that you see me that way. If you keep acting up, you'll end up divorced. I'm talking about my past. Just because I accept everything doesn't mean it's all okay. So don't cross the line." Soon-ja, in a playful tone, remarked, "Look at your tone and eyes. Scary. I shouldn't mess around," but Sang-chul expressed his discomfort, saying, "It's not about not messing around; it's about understanding the mood when I'm being nice."

Previously, on the 7th, Soon-ja had warned, "I believe that all malicious doubts or certainties about me will be resolved once the broadcast ends. Only my close ones and I know the truth, but I firmly believe that the truth will be revealed without lies or embellishments. I will release all evidence to restore my tarnished reputation."

She further urged, "Please stop attacking my family," and added, "I will diligently prepare for legal action."
