Comedian Kang Jae-jun Reveals Connection with Soccer Star Son Heung-min on 'Delicious Guys'

Comedian Kang Jae-jun has revealed a special connection with soccer star Son Heung-min.

On the upcoming episode of Comedy TV's 'Delicious Guys,' airing on the 14th, the show will feature a 'Chuncheon Feast' special, showcasing a mukbang of fish set meals, buckwheat noodles, and dakgalbi.

The production team announced, “We have a guide from Chuncheon,” and proposed an opening mission to find this guide at Chuncheon Station. Cast members Kim Jun-hyun, Moon Se-yoon, Hwang Je-sung, and Kim Hae-jun expressed their anticipation by mentioning famous Chuncheon natives like Son Heung-min, Pani Bottle, and NewJeans' Minji. However, the real guide waiting for them was comedian Kang Jae-jun. Upon discovering this, the members humorously turned away, eliciting laughter.

Kang Jae-jun proudly stated, “I’ve lived in Chuncheon for over 30 years and went to the same elementary school as Son Heung-min.” He further surprised everyone by adding, “Director Son Woong-jung and my father know each other. My father was a teacher at the school where Director Son also worked.”

Kang Jae-jun guided the members to a fish set meal restaurant in Chuncheon, describing it as “a 40-year-old legendary spot known for its long lines.” The table was filled with mackerel, flounder, and grilled hairtail, and Kang Jae-jun couldn’t contain his excitement, causing laughter when he stood up and fell over in his enthusiasm.
