TVXQ's Yunho Opens Up About Marriage Pressure on Hyoyeon's YouTube Channel
On Girls' Generation Hyoyeon's YouTube channel, 'Hyoyeon's Level Up,' a video titled 'Congratulations on Your Comeback, Yunho Oppa!!! The Meeting of TVXQ and Girls' Generation is the Truth of Life' was uploaded.
In the video, Yunho reminisced about his trainee days, telling Hyoyeon, "We need to sort out the trainee hierarchy first," and added, "Although TVXQ debuted earlier, in terms of being a trainee, Hyoyeon is our senior." Yunho confessed, "Whenever I meet the Girls' Generation members, I feel embarrassed because they know about my humble beginnings," eliciting laughter.
Hyoyeon recalled Yunho as being shy and quiet, lacking in passion during those days. Yunho responded, "I was full of passion back then, but I didn't form relationships with others," and mentioned that he was told not to speak due to his strong accent.
Yunho revealed, "I've heard it a lot, starting 5-6 years ago, and that's why holidays are scary." He shared that his great-aunt often asks, "When are you getting married? I don't need gifts from the money you've earned." When Hyoyeon said she hasn't heard such questions yet, Yunho replied, "That's a good thing," and added, "Once you start hearing about marriage, you begin to feel the reality." He advised, "Now is the time to dream and do what you want."
Meanwhile, when asked about his legendary stage performance, Yunho chose the first SM Town stage as a duo with TVXQ. He explained, "Rather than being legendary, you can see the determination in my eyes," and added, "It's the stage I think about most earnestly, and it makes me emotional."
