Rising Tensions: Kim You-jung and Lee Yul-eum Clash in 'Dear X'

Kim You-jung and Lee Yul-eum's rivalry intensifies in 'Dear X'.

On the 13th, ahead of the release of episodes 5 and 6, TVING's original series 'Dear X' unveiled stills featuring the heated confrontation between the two actresses, Baek Ah-jin (played by Kim You-jung) and Lena (played by Lee Yul-eum).

In the previously released episodes 1-4 of 'Dear X', the series depicted the dark past and dangerous secrets hidden behind top star Baek Ah-jin's dazzling success. Her father, Baek Seon-kyu (played by Bae Soo-bin), continued to abuse her into adulthood, leading her to sacrifice café owner Choi Jung-ho (played by Kim Ji-hoon) to break free from her shackles. However, as the truth threatened to come to light, Long Star Entertainment's CEO Seo Mi-ri (played by Kim Ji-young) intervened. Ultimately, Baek Ah-jin decided to leave Yoon Jun-seo (played by Kim Young-dae) and join forces with Seo Mi-ri to enter the entertainment industry.

Baek Ah-jin's desire to "be reborn at the highest peak" becomes a reality. The newly released photos capture her glamorous transformation as she debuts as an actress. However, her journey to the top is fraught with challenges from the start. As Baek Ah-jin gains attention as a rising star, Lena's jealousy and rivalry intensify. Whether they encounter each other in a shop or in front of the cameras, their tense stares never waver, creating a palpable tension as their rivalry escalates.

Episodes 5 and 6 of 'Dear X' delve into Baek Ah-jin's story as she dons a mask to escape her personal hell. As she climbs higher, ominous movements emerge to uncover deeply hidden truths, threatening her downfall. New characters and events, along with expanded relationships, promise to heighten the series' immersive experience.
