Comedian Park Mi-sun Returns to TV After Battling Breast Cancer

Comedian Park Mi-sun has made her first television appearance after battling breast cancer.

On the October 5th episode of tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block,' a preview for the next episode was revealed.

In the broadcast, Park Mi-sun appeared with a short hairstyle, and host Yoo Jae-suk warmly welcomed her, saying, "Our healthy sister is back."

Park Mi-sun greeted viewers, explaining her return by saying, "There are too many fake news stories, so I'm here to announce that I'm alive."

She also opened up about her feelings and treatment process during her 'breast cancer battle,' sharing, "I had an outdoor shoot scheduled and planned to undergo radiation therapy afterward. But when I opened up... this is the first time I'm talking about it," she said, momentarily pausing.

Joking about her new short hair, she asked, "Don't I look like Furiosa?" and encouraged laughter, maintaining her characteristic cheerful energy. She was also seen tearing up while watching a video message from a friend.

Earlier this year, Park Mi-sun halted her activities due to health reasons. While the exact diagnosis was not disclosed, it was recently revealed that she was diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer and focused on her treatment.
