Dramatic First Encounter Between Lee Jung-jae and Lim Ji-yeon in 'Yalmiun Love' Captivates Viewers

The drama 'Yalmiun Love,' which gained attention for its '18-year age difference,' showcased a thrilling first meeting between Lee Jung-jae and Lim Ji-yeon.

On the premiere episode of tvN's 'Yalmiun Love' (directed by Kim Ga-ram, written by Jung Yeorang) aired on the night of the 3rd at 8:50 PM, the first encounter between Im Hyun-jun (played by Lee Jung-jae) and Wi Jung-shin (played by Lim Ji-yeon) was depicted.

In this episode, Im Hyun-jun faced the humiliation of being mistaken for a kidnapper by the drunken journalist Wi Jung-shin, and also had a cold reunion with his past lover Kwon Se-na (played by Oh Yeon-seo), who had betrayed him.

While driving with a complicated mind due to his ex-girlfriend Kwon Se-na, Im Hyun-jun's unfortunate fate began when the intoxicated journalist Wi Jung-shin, manipulated by corrupt politicians, got into the back seat of his car. Wi Jung-shin, misunderstanding the situation as a kidnapping, reported it to the police, leading both of them to the police station.

Although Im Hyun-jun's innocence was proven through the dashcam footage, the recording also revealed his voice badmouthing Kwon Se-na. Wi Jung-shin apologized to Im Hyun-jun and, in a self-destructive manner, hit her head, exclaiming, "Why am I doing this, making an innocent person a kidnapper?"

Im Hyun-jun offered Wi Jung-shin a hangover drink, comforting her by saying, "I don't know why, but even when bad things happen, it's usually not my fault. Don't blame yourself and keep moving forward. Only by succeeding can you avoid being ignored." In response, Wi Jung-shin wrote 'Thank you' on her business card and handed it to Im Hyun-jun, leaving room for a future reunion.
