BTOB's Lee Chang-sub recently revealed the story behind his unexpected ballad performance at the Waterbomb Festival, capturing the audience's attention.

On the October 3rd episode of JTBC's 'Talk Pawon 25 Hours,' Lee Chang-sub made an appearance and discussed his experience on the Waterbomb stage.

During the broadcast, Lee Chang-sub entered the studio, and Jeon Hyun-moo immediately started singing, catching Lee off guard. Jeon Hyun-moo commented, "Your singing seems to have decreased," to which Yang Se-chan humorously added, "Isn't he starting off weird?"

Jeon Hyun-moo laughed it off, saying, "It's just fan enthusiasm, please understand." Yang Se-chan then remarked, "Lee Chang-sub is a trusted ballad singer, but I heard he attended the Waterbomb event. What happened?" Lee Chang-sub explained, "I attended for a performance. I chose a different path and suddenly switched to a ballad to set the mood."

A video of the actual performance was shown, where Lee Chang-sub said, "Let's raise the mood," and the dancers began to exit the stage. Lee commented, "The dancers' role is to hype up the crowd." Jeon Hyun-moo joked, "He really poured cold water on the hot Waterbomb," eliciting laughter. Lee Chang-sub reflected, "It was truly the first and last ballad performance at Waterbomb."

Meanwhile, Lee Chan-won commented on Lee Chang-sub's new album, saying, "The title is so sad." The title was 'Farewell, Lee-Byeol.' Lee Chang-sub explained, "It means farewell and star," and promoted his new title track, 'Jureureu.' He also revealed that the entire songwriting, composing, and producing was done by Lee Moo-jin, surprising everyone.
