Kim Yo-han to Showcase New Charms in 'The 4th Love Revolution'

Kim Yo-han is set to unveil new charms in the upcoming series 'The 4th Love Revolution(제4차 사랑혁명).' Previously, he debuted as the top contestant on Mnet's 'Produce X 101' in 2019, but the group X1 disbanded following a manipulation controversy.

On the 3rd, the production team of the Wavve original series 'The 4th Love Revolution,' which premieres on Thursday, the 13th, released the first stills of Kim Yo-han as 'Kang Min-hak,' a major influencer and model. His transformation, which ranges from sweet romance to comedy, is drawing curiosity from viewers.

'The 4th Love Revolution' is a chaotic romantic comedy filled with errors, featuring a lifelong single engineering student, Joo Yeon-san (played by Hwang Bo-reum-byeol), and a million-follower influencer model, Kang Min-hak (played by Kim Yo-han), who meet due to a department merger. The daring and bold campus romance of these youthful characters is set to awaken viewers' romantic cells.

The series is co-directed by Yoon Seong-ho, known for his stylish direction in works like Wavve's 'Political Fever,' 'Top Management,' and the film 'Milky Way Liberation Front,' and Han In-mi, who gained sensational attention with the drama 'The Trend is Lily(대세는 백합)' and the film 'Nobody′s Lover.' The production team of 'Political Fever,' which opened new horizons in Korean black comedy with its ironic satire, reunites to capture the attention of drama fans. Additionally, the creative group 'Songpyeon,' including emerging writers like Song Hyun-joo of the drama 'Way Back Love' and Kim Hong-ki of the film 'Extreme Festival,' contributes to the script, ensuring its quality.

The charming visuals of model and 'hot celeb' Kang Min-hak are captivating. Whenever he appears on campus, he is instantly surrounded by everyone. His appearance on the basketball court, as if he stepped out of a romance comic, also induces excitement. In the previously released teaser, Kang Min-hak, with his simple-mindedness, leaves top engineering student Joo Yeon-san flustered. Although he seems perfect on the outside, he is actually quite clumsy. Another photo shows him gazing innocently at someone, adding curiosity to his contrasting charm. Viewers are eager to see how model major Kang Min-hak will intertwine with lifelong single engineering student Joo Yeon-san.

Kim Yo-han shared, "Kang Min-hak is so pure that those around him might sometimes find him frustrating. However, he shows strong responsibility when it matters," adding, "I tried to act intuitively, as written in the script, because that felt like 'Min-hak.'"

He further explained his choice of 'The 4th Love Revolution,' saying, "The more I read the script, the more I found Kang Min-hak to be an intriguing and complex character," and added, "I think it's a fun and accessible work for viewers who enjoy romantic comedies. The relationships between the various characters will also be a charming point." His comments heightened anticipation and excitement.
