'Spirit Fingers' is about a group of individuals with unique personalities who gather to draw. Dong-gun introduces himself to new member Song Woo-yeon (played by Park Ji-hoo) by saying, "I'm Brown Finger. I love the color brown the most." The group frequently changes costumes to match the theme of their drawings, allowing Dong-gun to display his charm in various outfits, from school uniforms to royal robes.
Lim Chul-soo portrays the warm-hearted adult 'Jang Dong-gun' with subtlety. While wearing the school uniform, he encourages the student Woo-yeon by saying, "The best time in life is definitely during school days." When dressed as a king, he adds humor and wit to the series.
