Jeon Yeo-been's Captivating Emotional Range in 'Good Girl, Busemi'
◆ Warm Moments
After being hired as a bodyguard for a conglomerate, Kim Young-ran enters Chairman Ga's (played by Moon Sung-keun) mansion, only to find suspicious elements like CCTV and dubious individuals. Despite believing that wealth would bring happiness, the life of the group's owner is shrouded in loneliness and longing for his deceased daughter. Kim Young-ran quietly supports him, becoming a source of strength.
Having lived a harsh reality, Kim Young-ran begins to change through Busemi's life. She learns to smile thanks to the kind people of Muchang and becomes a beloved teacher to kindergarten children. Her warmth is especially evident when she tirelessly searches for the missing son of Jeon Dong-min (played by Jin-young) and risks her life on a dangerous road.
◆ Cold Moments
The biggest obstacle in Kim Young-ran's life is her mother, who demands money upon hearing of her employment and reports her every move to Ga Sun-young (played by Jang Yoon-ju). Kim Young-ran's cold gaze as she leaves her drunken mother at the police station reveals both her pain and resentment.
Her eyes are sharpest when focused on Ga Sun-young, the target of her revenge. Realizing that her loved ones are in danger and facing threats from a hitman hired by Ga Sun-young, Kim Young-ran decides to confront her directly, marking the beginning of her vengeful retaliation.
Jeon Yeo-been skillfully navigates the emotional nuances of her character, bringing depth to her portrayal. Her changing expressions, breath, and gaze heighten the show's intensity, leaving viewers eager to see the emotional climax of Kim Young-ran and Busemi's journey in 'Good Girl, Busemi'.
'Good Girl, Busemi' airs every Monday and Tuesday at 10 PM on ENA, with exclusive free VOD available on KT Genie TV immediately after the broadcast, and streaming on TVING.
