The members of '2 Days & 1 Night' have concluded their 'Ulleungdo Diary' and are opening the first page of their 'Dokdo Diary.'

On the October 26th episode of KBS2's variety show '2 Days & 1 Night Season 4' (hereafter '2 Days & 1 Night'), the six members embarked on their 'My Ulleungdo Diary' journey. The episode achieved a 7.3% viewership rating, securing the top spot in its time slot, according to Nielsen Korea. A highlight moment was when Kim Jong-min correctly answered a Dokdo-related trivia question, inspired by the lyrics of 'Dokdo is Our Land,' pushing the ratings to a peak of 10.1%.

Early in the morning, Kim Jong-min, Jo Se-ho, DinDin, and Yoo Seon-ho boarded a ferry and were welcomed by Moon Se-yoon and Lee Jun upon arriving at Ulleungdo, reuniting the '2 Days & 1 Night' team. The six members split into two teams: the Upper Team (Jo Se-ho, Lee Jun, Yoo Seon-ho) and the Lower Team (Kim Jong-min, Moon Se-yoon, DinDin) to begin their Ulleungdo adventure.

The Lower Team revisited Hakpo Port, a location they had previously filmed at on '2 Days & 1 Night.' The trio competed in a fishing challenge to catch the most bedorachi, with the prize being Ulleungdo's famous conch stew. Kim Jong-min, leveraging his past experience at the same spot three years ago, emerged victorious.

After the bedorachi fishing, Kim Jong-min, Moon Se-yoon, and DinDin took on the 'Fishing Master' mission, with lunch on the line. They had to catch 20 fish using toy fishing rods within three minutes. Successfully completing two out of three rounds, they secured two servings of Ulleungdo's mulhoe.

The Upper Team, consisting of members visiting Ulleungdo for the first time, headed to Bongnae Waterfall. Jo Se-ho, Lee Jun, and Yoo Seon-ho, accompanied by a guide, learned about Ulleungdo's unique flora as they made their way to the destination. Upon arrival, they participated in the 'Relay Treasure Hunt' lunch mission, taking photos of the plants they had learned about.

Sensing the mission, Jo Se-ho, Lee Jun, and Yoo Seon-ho focused intently on the guide's explanations, easily finding and photographing the specified plants, and completing the mission with time to spare. As a reward, they enjoyed a full Ulleungdo meal featuring five dishes.

After lunch, the six members reunited at Tonggumi Port for the 'Hammer Karaoke' mission, which determined their next mode of transportation. Jo Se-ho, Lee Jun, and Yoo Seon-ho, who had studied the lyrics of 'Ulleungdo Twist' in the car, were thrilled when it was revealed as the mission song.

However, mistakes by Kim Jong-min and DinDin left the team with only one chance out of five. With their backs against the wall, the members focused intensely and successfully completed the mission, celebrating their victory.

Having succeeded in the 'Hammer Karaoke' mission, the '2 Days & 1 Night' team opted for a cable car ride to a scenic viewpoint, where on clear days, Dokdo can be seen. Upon reaching the viewpoint, the production team abruptly announced, "Unfortunately, 'My Ulleungdo Diary' ends here," leaving the members puzzled.

They continued, "We are about to embark on a special journey with a guest," revealing the surprise appearance of Professor Seo Kyung-duk, known as the 'Guardian of Dokdo.' Welcomed warmly by the members, Professor Seo emphasized the importance of frequent visits to Dokdo, stating, "Dokdo is our land, and it's crucial for us to visit often. We plan to visit Dokdo to commemorate 'Dokdo Day' on October 25th," thus beginning the 'Dokdo Diary' journey with the '2 Days & 1 Night' team.

Before delving into the Dokdo exploration, the members enjoyed dinner at an Ulleungdo restaurant. Given the presence of Professor Seo, a special dinner featuring Ulleungdo's local specialties was served, with the main dish, Osam Bulgogi, up for grabs in the 'Useful and Fascinating Dokdo Dictionary' quiz. The top three members to correctly answer two of Professor Seo's Dokdo trivia questions would get to enjoy the Osam Bulgogi.

As Professor Seo presented carefully selected questions, DinDin, who had composed a song about Dokdo, and Kim Jong-min, with his extensive historical knowledge, each answered a question correctly, taking the lead. The members listened attentively to Professor Seo's historical insights, approaching the quiz with a learning mindset.

With their brief yet enriching Ulleungdo experience concluded, the '2 Days & 1 Night' team is set to open the first page of their 'Dokdo Diary' alongside Professor Seo.
