K-Pop star Lee Chan-won recently addressed questions about his relationship status during a visit to his alma mater, Kyungwon High School, as featured on the October 24th episode of KBS 2TV's 'New Release, Convenience Store' (also known as 'Pyeonstorang').

During his visit, Lee Chan-won discovered his name listed as a distinguished alumnus, noted for winning the 2024 KBS Entertainment Award. He expressed his surprise and delight, saying, "This is amazing. They updated it so quickly."

In a Q&A session titled 'Ask Chan-to,' a student inquired about his secret to looking good. Lee humorously responded, "You look great now. Remember how I looked when I appeared on 'National Singing Contest' in high school? I took off my glasses and gained some weight."

When asked about how to date, Lee shared a story from his school days, "During festivals, girls from other schools would come, and I was always the MC. At least two or three girls would ask for my number."

When a student boldly asked if he currently has a girlfriend, Lee playfully replied, "Would I admit it if I did? Even if I had one, I wouldn't say." He then clarified, "I don't have one right now."

To support the senior students, Lee Chan-won prepared 200 servings of chicken gangjeong, a popular Korean dish. Reflecting on his own school days, he said, "I really didn't want to study back then, especially 100 days before the college entrance exam. I wanted to give them a short break. School days are carefree and happy, but you don't realize it at the time. Today, seeing the students enjoy the food and hearing their kind words made me feel truly happy."
