Emotional Turmoil on 'Mr. House Husband 2': Adoption Issues and a Heartwarming Remarriage Ceremony

In a recent episode of KBS2's variety show 'Mr. House Husband 2', aired on the 18th, viewers witnessed a dramatic moment as Lee Min-woo's father stormed out amidst legal issues surrounding the adoption of his fiancée's daughter.

The episode featured the final part of Park Seo-jin's family trip to Hong Kong and the first three-generation family trip of Lee Min-woo's family. Lee Min-woo, along with his third-generation Korean-Japanese fiancée, her 6-year-old daughter, and his parents, embarked on a family trip to Yeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do, to celebrate their new beginning. The family, now more harmonious with the new addition, took care of each other lovingly. Lee Min-woo's father noted, "Your mother has changed a lot. We don't argue anymore. It's wonderful." The 6-year-old daughter charmed everyone with her sweet voice and adorable personality as she sang Rosé's 'Apartment' in the car.

Laughter continued at the restaurant, where Lee Min-woo's father showed affection by making a lettuce wrap for his wife, expressing his newfound happiness by saying, "I feel like I can do anything because of this happiness I've never felt before."

Lee Min-woo's mother recalled, "We rushed into marriage due to a premarital pregnancy, and we weren't financially stable." Lee Min-woo shared memories of their struggles, "Our house was small, and my mother worked as a hairdresser while my father faced business troubles. I remember the red foreclosure notices vividly from my childhood, and it made me determined to protect my family."

However, the mood shifted dramatically as the mother expressed regret over their past hardships and the father, upset by the conversation, left the room. The fiancée worried, "Did my question cause this? How can I make it right?"

The father's stern demeanor persisted at the next destination, but a heartwarming twist awaited. At a traditional wedding experience center, Lee Min-woo and his fiancée proposed a remarriage ceremony for his parents. Initially surprised, the parents were eventually won over by the fiancée and granddaughter's charm. The mother softened, saying, "I live because I love," melting the father's heart. The couple donned traditional wedding attire and celebrated a beautiful remarriage ceremony, 60 years after their original wedding.

The episode concluded with a farewell from MC Baek Ji-young, who has been a beloved host of 'Mr. House Husband 2'.
